Jim
Boyd is the President and Broker of the J. L. Boyd Company, offering
complete consultation and expertise in the sale of investment properties
along with the sale and leasing of industrial, office, and retail
properties.
Jim Boyd has
specialized in commercial real estate since 1978. He started the J. L.
Boyd Company on October 1, 1994. During this time he has gained
extensive expertise and knowledge needed to provide his clients with the
best possible service.
As a former employee
of IBM Corporation and graduate of Boise State University, Jim continues
to be involved in the community. Jim is currently involved with the
Boise Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a graduate of Leadership Boise, a
program sponsored by the Boise Chamber of Commerce. Jim also serves on
the Board of Directors for Capital Matrix, Inc., which is a non-profit
corporation that administers the 504 Program for the Small Business
Association.
Jim Boyd’s past
service includes serving on the Boise City Design Review Committee,
which has helped upgrade the landscape and design standards in the City
of Boise. He also served as a Commissioner for the North Ada County
Fire District.
In addition, Jim
served 22 years between the U. S. Army Reserve and the Idaho Army
National Guard, retiring in 1997 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

J. MARCUM

Cliff Marcum has specialized in the
leasing, sale, and development of Retail Properties since 1988. Upon
graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science
(Engineering) degree, Cliff worked for 13 years as an Industrial
Engineer with experience in Plant Expansions and Construction. He then
enjoyed 15 years in the restaurant business, in management and ownership
capacities. The J. L. Boyd Company appreciates Cliff’s construction and
restaurant experience bringing a special expertise to the retail market.

RICHARD "BUZZ" BROWN
BROKERAGE DIVISION
COMMERCIAL LEASING & SALES
Buzz deals with all facets of commercial real
estate, focusing on leasing of Industrial, Office, and Retail
properties. He started his career in real estate at Albertsons in the
Market Research and Analysis Department where he produced quantitative
analysis and data summary presentations on commercial properties across
the country. He has worked for major retailers and developers producing
gravity based sales projection models and in-depth demographic analysis
in markets including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas and
Boise.
A Boise native and father of two, Buzz enjoys golfing,
skiing and mountain biking. He has strong ties to the community and his
experience helps to deliver exceptional service to the clients he
represents.

WOLF
BROKERAGE DIVISION
COMMERCIAL LEASING & SALES
LaUna brings to the J. L. Boyd Company
an extensive and varied professional background that includes banking,
outside sales, and successful entrepreneurial accomplishments. Upon
entering the real estate sales and leasing arena in 2002, she has been
involved in numerous commercial transactions where she has gained a vast
knowledge of the industry, its players, and local market trends that
directly and indirectly impact her clients.
LaUna works
diligently to market and promote her client’s properties in order to
bring about a successful lease or sale. She also specializes in Tenant
Representation; benefiting various national and local tenants looking
for specific office, retail, or warehouse properties in the Boise area.
An Idaho native, LaUna enjoys
spending time both in Boise and in their home in northern Idaho she has with her husband of 36 years. They boat, camp, fly fish, and
take local day hikes on trails leading to the mountain lakes.

DEBRA
L. WALTERS
OFFICE MANAGER
Debbie brings many years of commercial
real estate administrative experience to the J. L. Boyd Company. She is
responsible for trust and corporate accounting, property management
accounting, A/P, human resources, administration, and marketing
assistance. Debbie is constantly striving to improve and enhance the
services we provide our customers and clients.
Debbie began her career working for
a bank in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1985, she moved to Idaho to enjoy the
Northwest.
Debbie and her husband enjoy
spending time with their two daughters.

JEFF
SHAFFER
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DIVISION
PROPERTY MANAGER
Jeff is responsible for the Property
Management of all properties managed by the J.L. Boyd Company. He is
proactive in providing personalized attention to each property, while
providing our clients with the highest possible return for their
investments.
Jeff is a graduate of Boise State
University. He has attained Microsoft Certified Professional
status and has provided computer network support for many different
companies. He has also worked in the insurance industry.
Jeff and his family enjoy reading, camping, traveling, and spending time
together.

SAYDIE
PADILLA
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DIVISION ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Saydie heads up the Accounting and Financial Management
for the J.L. Boyd Company Property Management. As a result of her broad
knowledge of Business Management and Accounting, she brings added value
to our clients while providing effective, personable customer service.
Saydie is a Boise
native and has traveled extensively throughout the western US and
Mexico. During her travels, she held various accounting related
positions, ultimately moving back to Boise after working for several
years as the Controller of a large, national life insurance company.
Upon returning to Boise, she joined her family’s mid-sized manufacturing
company as their Chief Financial Officer. During her ten years
there, Saydie gained valuable experience in business management to
include financial and cash flow analysis, public relations and
marketing.
Outside of work, Saydie’s main focus is caring for her daughter and
family. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and landscaping, music, and
traveling.

PAT LeFEVRE
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
As the office Administrative Assistant, Pat is responsible for marketing
support of available properties, updating Internet listings,
developing brochures and flyers, answering phones and assisting with
administrative duties as needed.
She brings diverse experience as well as excellent computer and
communication skills to the J.L. Boyd Company.
Pat has had almost 20 years of experience as an Administrative
Assistant. Most of that experience was acquired while working in various
organizations at HP. She has worked in Accounting, Purchasing,
Marketing, Sales Support, Education, and R&D Lab.
